Margarita is a native Spanish speaker.  She has a Master's in Mass Communications, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and she is a Certified Command Spanish® Instructor.   She has worked with hundreds of students and professionals to help them learn and retain Spanish. 

She combines the essentials of Spanish with creative mnemonic techniques. Margarita has 8 years of experience in the educational field including teaching Spanish, conducting classes in Spanish composition, working as educational advisor for Devry University, translating technical Spanish, and training Spanish speaking employees.   She also works for the University of New Mexico as an instructor for the Continuing Education Programs for both, adults and children.   Her workshops, seminars, and classes are always lively, fun, and creative.  She emphasizes the need to have mnemonic techniques to help her students remember and practice what they have learned. 

A former Chemical Engineer, Financial Advisor,  Educational Advisor, and always a traveler and creative thinker, Margarita has a witty sense of humor, is passionate about teaching, and enjoys a creative life with her soon-to-be fully bilingual husband and their three children in Albuquerque, NM.
