About the Resort:
The Coronado Beach and Golf resort was one of the first to be developed
on the Pacific coast and has recently undergone an extensive renovation and modernization. It is about 10 minutes off the
Pan-American Highway and approximately 75 minutes from the city. The Coronado area offers many local restaurants, shops and
supermarkets, but the resort itself is in a quiet, gated location surrounded by residential properties.
The
resort has a fitness center, spa and golf course as well as a large pool and patio area. The rooms are spacious and can
accommodate up to 4 people. Classes and activities are offered daily and can be specifically arranged for groups. It also
has a large equestrian center with a steakhouse restaurant which is open to hotel guests. The hotel has two restaurants in
the main building. The hotel is about a mile away from the beach and reached by a shuttle trolley which runs
all the time, whenever needed. The shuttle takes guests to a very nice private beach club on the beach with water sports,
a pool, restaurant, 2 bars and smart beach furniture. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the management
very responsive.
